My Roots

Hi y’all! My name is Cassie Avant, and I am a lover of all things food, health, and wellness. Growing up in a small town (Deepstep, GA) , I spent a great deal of time in the kitchen with my mom and grandmother where they taught me the art of making biscuits, canning jelly, shelling peas, shucking corn, and the basics to be a good home cook. This is exactly where my love of cooking began, even though it wasn’t until years later that I started to recognize my own passions in the kitchen. I was taught that cooking doesn’t have to be complicated, simple is best, fresh whole food ingredients matter, and that stands true today. Food is meant to nourish & fuel our bodies and that’s exactly what I want to do at RFC.

Over the years, I started to focus on what true health and wellness looks like, and what we put into our body is a huge part of that. Here at RFC, I want everyone to see that food can be good FOR you and still TASTE good!

I’m here to fuel your body and feed your soul with delicious, good for you food!

I value whole food ingredients and focus on the highest quality available. All of our food at RFC is Paleo Based meaning that everything we create is free of gluten, dairy, grains, refined sugar, soy, seed oils, food dyes, and anything artificial.
